One of the largest apprentice employers in New Zealand
Do you have a hands-on mindset, and a passion for vehicles or heavy-duty transport equipment?
We employ one of the largest numbers of apprentices in New Zealand for the industry (over 60!), and annually recruit more for Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician, Automotive Technician, Automotive Parts/Accessory Merchandising and Materials Handling Technician roles.
Our focus on developing people means that you’ll get a personalised learning plan, career development plan, and plenty of opportunities for progression! Plus, all the basics—tools, pay rises based on MITO credits, PPE and a safe working environment. Sounding like a match made in heaven? We think so.
How to become a Sime Darby apprentice
First, you’ll need to complete a pre-trade qualification and undertake work experience with one of our branches. Then, you’ll need to create a CV, with references and a proof of enrolment letter from your tutor, and send it through to us with ‘Apprentice Work Experience’ as the subject.
If you’re currently doing a pre-trade qualification, and your work experience is being gained through another company, you’ll just need to switch your work experience to a Sime Darby branch.
Get in touch with us now! Flick us through a CV, references and proof of enrolment, and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
