Today we got wiggy for a good cause.

Every week in New Zealand, three kids get diagnosed with cancer. The Child Cancer Foundation is a charity tasked with supporting both children with cancer and their families.

Wednesday 9th September 2020 was the national fundraising event “Get Wiggy” where people got to wear a wig or whacky hair to support this great cause.

The small Sime Darby Transport team in Christchurch answered the call and put on their best wig and wackiest hair on. About 30 of us managed to raise just under $100 to support Kiwi kids with cancer. We saw all sorts of hair colours and hair dos and this was a great way to bring the team together.

Thank you everyone for participating, donating, baking and being such a great team!
